The Rolex Submariner 116613LB “Bluesy” is very nearly the peak of the Submariner lineup. Introduced at Baselworld 2013 as the successor to the original 2009 “Bluesy”, this watch combines timeless design, a recognizable flash of gold and blue, and one of the most iconic names in watch history. With a 40mm stainless steel case and Rolex’s proprietary Glidelock system in the clasp, the Bluesy is very wearable for the vast majority of buyers. The dial is similar to a standard 116610LN Submariner, featuring a date window at 3 o’clock, with the main difference being the sunburst blue color on the 116613LB. Powering the Bluesy is Rolex’s in-house Caliber 3135 automatic movement with 48 hours of power reserve.
